This Unity tutorial covers how to cut a trajectory with collision and/or percentage. These two approaches are explained separately and shown combined at the end.
This is the second part of the drawing trajectory for velocity or force-based shooting but this one solely focuses on cutting the line renderer trajectory with object collision as well shortening the trajectory with ratios.
If you have your trajectory implementation calculated with line renderer you can apply the approaches explained here.
For collision-based shortening, raycasting is used for consecutive points, and for percentage/ratio shortening calculations are done with the total number of points but only ratioed number of points are added to the line renderer.
