This Unity tutorial covers how to predict and draw trajectory for physics-based velocity or force shooting of 3d gameobjects using line renderer in Unity.
This is the first part of a two-part tutorial series for drawing trajectory. In this one, we draw the whole trajectory using ballistic trajectory prediction. Trajectory starts from the position of the object and ends as if there are no obstacles on its path.
The next part of the tutorial includes cutting the line renderer on collision to obstacle and showing only a percentage/part of the trajectory to use the trajectory prediction for more challenging but guiding gameplay.
