1950s lamps by IKEA - Swedish vintage lighting design
If you find an unidentified Swedish mid-century lamp, there’s a good possibility it’s a vintage IKEA fixture. In this reel, you’ll find a bunch of lamps featured in the IKEA catalogs in the late 1950s. This is obviously just a small fraction of all mid-century IKEA lamps. And yeah, “IKEA lamp” is probably not a good expression. One must not forget that IKEA was a pure retailer back then and didn’t produce any products of their own. As with the furniture, these lamps were produced by more or less famous Swedish manufacturers.
