Wilhelm Kåge at the Gustavsberg procelain factory
The Swedish artist and ceramicist Wilhelm Kåge was born in 1889 as Algot Wilhelm Nilsson and started his career drawing signs and posters in his early teens. Nowadays, he is obviously best known for his ceramics produced at the Gustavsberg porcelain factory, where he was artistic director between 1917 and 1949.
