Junk Journal July hosted by @megjournals and @getmessy
Prompt 19 tag, prompt 20 picture, prompt 21 color, prompt 22 timeless, prompt 23 tip-in
For the tag book, I cut two strips of paper 5” tall and 11” long and glued them into one strip, drew the MAMBI (Me and My Big Ideas) style stick figures, then scored and folded every 2.5”, and finally cut the tag shape at the top. The sidewalk chalk lettering is Crayola crayons.
For the picture, I used a photo of Lauren Tewes as Julie McCoy from The Love Boat. That show ran 1977-1985 (plus five specials through 1990.) The ship, the Pacific Princess, was scrapped in 2013. The show is streaming on Paramount+ and Pluto TV. There was a spin-off The Love Boat: The Next Wave that ran 1998-1999 that included a reunion episode.
My action plan item around these pages is more time with friends. I tend to be the planner of the group, and we’ve had a lot of fun over the years on the outings I’ve arranged. One example was a downtown day: we had lunch at a restaurant from the Top 100 list, went to the observation deck in the tallest building, toured the largest private Art Deco building renovation in the county, visited the urban park, used the underground tunnels and rode the downtown circulating “trolley” bus, and toured the Art Deco city hall.
Prices are current as of the day I typed this out (obvs.) and do not include coupons, taxes, or shipping. Amazon links (if any) are affiliate, others are not. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases. Or I would, theoretically, if anyone ever followed a link and bought something, which I do not encourage. Use your craft supplies!
