At the end of school, I hung around the gates on my phone.
"Rawh!" I heard someone shout, being pulled backwards and held tight around the waist. I turned to see Harry grinning.
"Oh, hi" I said, placing my hands on his and forcing them off of me.
"What's wrong?" He asked, walking by me.
"Nothing" I replied, pressing my lips together and looking forward.
"Yes, there is. I know you" He said, running in front of me and walking backwards.
"No, there's not. You obviously don't" I sighed, brushing past him.
"Mackenzie, please tell me" He whined, practically begging.
"Tell you what!" I snapped.
"Why your angry with me" He asked, grabbing my hands.
I stopped and sighed, looking down at the floor.
"It's earlier, isn't it"
I turned away from him. "I don't know" I replied, a little softer.
"Look, your my best friend. You can tell me anything" He assured, looking me in the eyes.
"I don't know, what it is. I, I don't know I'm being moody I guess" I sighed, dropping my hands and putting my hand on my bag.
"You sure?" He asked, still walking backwards.
"I'm sure" I replied, pulling him out of the way so he didn't walk into a car parked on the street.
As I came inside my house, I remembered dad wasn't coming home until late. I could get my coursework in. I grabbed my folders and sat at the kitchen table in silence, school was there for another week, one whole week until I was finished forever. One week.
The door opened suddenly. "Hey!" Said a familiar voice.
"Dad?" I said confused, but then seeing Harry enter, I sat back down again.
"No" He laughed, sitting on the chair opposite me.
"What are you doing?" He asked, leaning over the table to look at my sheets.
"Well, I was doing coursework" I sighed, picking it all up and putting it back into my folder again.
"What! You have all summer to do that" He laughed.
"I have until Thursday" I replied.
"Oh, I'll go then" He said, standing up. I stopped him.
"No! Stay, now" I said, pointing to the chair. He sat down instantly.
"Good" I giggled, ruffling up his hair.
"Hey!" He laughed, fixing it all again.
"So, what bring you here" I asked, sitting back down at the table.
"What do you mean what brings me here!" He smiled.
The door opened again. "Who's this?" I sighed, and dad entered.
"Oh, you didn't tell me you were bringing a boy over" He said, putting down a Tesco bag.
"Dad! It's Harry, are you serious?" I giggled, turning a little red.
"I was joking! Hey Harry" He smiled.
"Hey" Harry replied.
"Your not back too late then!" I said, nodding at the bag on the couch.
"No, I didn't think I'd be back this early" He replied.
"Well, I'm going to change" I smiled, hopping off of my seat and running to my bedroom, when I got there I opened up my wardrobe, examining my clothes and picking out an outfit. I was wearing some shorts and a white tank, with black converse. I left my hair the same, but added some more eyeliner as some had rubbed off in the day.
