Chasing Shadows // A Harry Styles Love Story Chapter Four
"Where are you going?" Dad asked, nodding at my change of clothes.
Harry looked up from his phone.
"Nowhere, I don't want to sit in my uniform all night on a Friday" I shrugged.
"Oh, well why don't you go out, socialize with other kids your age" Dad said, putting down a box of paper on the table.
"I do socialize" I murmured, watching him do it.
"Just go have fun" He sighed. "Course work can wait"
"Fine" I replied, picking up my purse and adding a little more mascara.
"Yeah yeah come on you look fine already" Harry groaned grabbing my arm and pulling me away.
"No I don't!" I moaned, walking reluctantly to the door.
"You do" He replied, closing the door. "Niall's having a party, wanna go?"
"No" I replied, sitting down on the doorstep.
"Why not!" Harry whined, sitting down next to me.
"You'll end up drunk again, and what if Lindsay's there, then what will happen between you two, Harry I really wish you'd watch, your almost 17, your not even legally supposed to drink yet" I sighed, resting my head on my propped up hand.
"Okay mother" Harry said sarcastically.
I hit his arm playfully.
"Please" He whined.
"Fine" I replied, standing up and pulling down my top.
Niall rushed up to us as soon as she saw us, Erica on her hip.
"Hey guys!" He grinned.
"Hi" I replied, my arms crossed, kicking the stones on the floor.
"Someone's grumpy" Louis grinned, jumping up behind him.
"She doesn't want to be here, but came because she loves me" Harry grinned, brushing a strand of hair out of my face,
"Huh" I scoffed. "What I do for you, with nothing in return" I said, raising an eyebrow.
"You get things in return!" He cried.
"Yeah, okay Romeo and Juliet stop arguing and get inside" Louis sighed, gesturing toward the door.
I let out a loud sigh and made my way toward the doorway. I do not want to be here.
"Are you okay" Harry shouted above the music.
I nodded my head, I obviously wasn't, but he doesn't know that.
He nodded his head too, and carried on dancing with whoever he was dancing with. I didn't even know her, and I'm pretty sure he doesn't either.
