Artist Feature: Urban Bush Women
Back in April, Urban Bush Women invited us as the audience to watch and participate in activating MASS MoCA’s campus with their story-telling.
Whether you came to HAINT BLU, or whether this is your first time encountering it, travel behind the scenes and hear from the creators and community partners involved with the project. Learn how they used sound, movement, and space to offer the audience an opportunity to remember, reclaim, release, and restore.
Urban Bush Women are long-time collaborators with MASS MoCA, and are now taking this story beyond our own North Adams to Martha’s Vineyard. We’re looking forward to seeing how they engage with new places and how they capture its history and offer it to that community as a tool for telling its own story.
