Auld Lang Syne [Happy New Year]
Happy New Year. I love this song. It's always used to celebrate the New Year but it's actually more of a melancholy song. And it's used to say farewell to the year that's passed. I'm going to make a 2014 video so that's not really what this is. But it is a bit of a reflection of my having to leave Wyatt (Should auld acquaintance be forgot) and moving on to a new chapter in riding. Things were very different for me this year. But in a good way, with the exception of not being able to see Wyatt. I'm so grateful for everything.
The clips of Oliver and I that were taken at night were from our last horse show. They had night classes and we competed in a medal and a hunter derby against pros! We ended up 5th in the hunter derby (would've been higher but our trot fence was a little rough) but that night was some of the best riding I have EVER done and I was so proud of Oliver and myself.
Anyway, just a little video to say Happy New Year. If you're going out, be safe! And don't make any resolutions you can't keep! : )
