Just a few quick clips from our lesson. This was my first time riding Oliver in weeks. Sorry for the poor quality. They were taken on my phone. I'm lessoning again this weekend and I'm going to have my mom come out and film so I can get some better clips. We were just working on sitting back, keeping rhythm to the fence and squeezing. The first jump is set at 2'9 maybe 3', the second is 3'3 and the last two are 3'6. Oliver is unchallenged, clearly.
We've got one more show to round off the season during Thanksgiving weekend. I'm super excited because I haven't been able to ride Oliver much recently since I've been preparing for IHSA shows. I've been riding so many other horses. But now, for a little while, I get to focus on riding him again.
We are throwing around the idea of possibly showing at RMI in December which would be cool since I've never done a rated show. But at this point it is just an idea so we'll see where that goes.
Thanks for watching!
