When We Come Alive {2014}
Last year was amazing. I made a huge and scary decision, but I have absolutely no regrets, because it worked out better than I ever could have hoped. Oliver and I have both come so far. He has that happy gleam in his eye now. This time last year he just looked sad. He's fat! No more skinny horse. And my riding has come so far. There are so many things about it that have improved. It's still not perfect and I'm fighting a lot of bad habits. But it is tremendously better than it was this time last year.
I am so incredibly grateful for Oliver and all of our other horses (Carter, George and Abby make some cameos in this video), for this amazing barn that I'm lucky to be a part of, and for the incredible trainer and barn family that I now have. 13 months ago, I never thought a place like this existed. But it does, and I am so grateful and happy to be a part of it.
