Bridging Hockey & Education: EVERFI, Kiewit & the Colorado Avalanche Unite
Through a collaboration between EVERFI, the Colorado Avalanche, and Kiewit, 80 students from Bell Middle School in the Jeffco Public School District had the unique opportunity to explore how STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) principles are applied in the realm of ice hockey. Students engaged in hands-on activities, both on the ice and behind the scenes at the Ball Arena, to deepen their understanding of the concepts learned through EVERFI’s Future Goals Hockey Scholar program.
