Dallas Cowboys & EVERFI Celebrate Black History: Empowering DFW Students in Character Playbook LIVE
On February 22nd, the Dallas Cowboys teamed up with EVERFI to host Character Playbook LIVE, a virtual event marking Black History Month with over 1,000 students from the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area. Moderated by Cowboys Team Reporter Nicole Hutchison, this session aimed to enrich students' understanding of Black history through interactive discussions.
Panelists included key figures from the Cowboys organization: Derek Eagleton, Vice President of Media & Programming; Tony Dixon, Cowboys Legend; Jalen Brooks, current Wide Receiver; and KayDianna, Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. They shared insights into their personal and professional experiences, emphasizing the importance of good character habits, mental wellness, and healthy relationships.
