Exploring the Rocky Mountains in Our 4x4 Truck Camper
We explore the beautiful Canadian Rocky Mountains in our 4x4 truck camper. We end up truck camping on crown land near the Rocky Mountains in the East Kootenay region of British Columbia. from there we make ourselves breakfast and head on into the mountains in our truck camper. Living full time in our truck camper has been great. We have amazing new views every night out of our back window. We head up the wildhorse creek forest service road and turn up the lakit mountain road. We quickly ran into snow just after the fork in the road. We parked our camper on the side of a cliff and headed on up to the lookout. We came very close to the lookout buy because we left our snowshoes behind we had to turn around or it would have been midnight before we got back to the vehicle. post holing in snow is never fun. However it was an amazing hike and we got some amazing drone views of the southern rockies. we then headed back to our truck camper and headed down the mountain road. We then get an amazing vegan burger from one of our favourite restaurants. We head back to the bush and get ready for a great night of truck camping. The next morning I do some leg exercises on our dog aspen. She has some serious leg issues and needs to work on her leg strength. Later that day we go on another short hike and work on our fitness levels for the upcoming hiking season. It had a very cool 12 foot inuksuk. We then have some friendly deer visit us in the parking lot of the grocery store.
