New Truck Camping Gear | Roof Rack Setup on DIY Truck Bed Camper
Hey! We're Starr and Daniel, this summer we decided to turn the back of our truck into a tiny home on wheels. As huge fans of all the van life conversion videos we see we got inspired to take the plunge and convert our truck with zero experience. We spent countless hours working to turn the back of our truck into a self converted truck camper. We installed power, heat and made it a very cosy space to live in. It had been a beautiful last couple of weeks. That is until we received our new roof rack and basket. Winter had once again reared its ugly head and decided to make installing our roof rack difficult. Cold temperatures had once again arrived the next day. However they were short lived and it warmed up once again. It has now been going back and forth between warm and cold weather. The roof rack has been great so far and it is amazing having more storage living in such a tiny space. I decided to change the way we secure our drawers while we drive to a bolt barrel. It has been working a lot better at securing our drawers while driving. We cook a breakfast sandwich in our rice cooker and a kimchi grilled cheese. We never thought of putting kimchi on a grilled cheese but it was amazing! We had to take Aspen to the vet for an eye problem. It turned out she has a blocked tear duct and it seems like she will need it surgically removed and flushed as the drops are not doing anything.
