Bring Science Alive! Matter Program Highlight
Bring Science Alive! Matter is a program built from the ground up to align to the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and the Common Core Standards.
Students will discover that everything, and everybody, is made up of about 90 different types of particles of matter. We will guide students' exploration of the characteristics and behavior of matter so they will have the support they need. Students will learn why empty water bottles crumple on a hike from atop a mountain to a lower elevation. Students will find out how scientists create amazing medicines from plants. They will discover how many atoms are in a grain of sand--it's truly amazing. But most importantly, students will fell the power and pride that come with understanding some fo the deepest mysteries about the tiny particles of matter that make up our vast universe.
