Bring Science Alive! Adaptations is a program built from the ground up to align to the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and the Common Core Standards.
Take a deep breath because in this program students will be learning about nothing less than a history of life on Earth. It's a mind-boggling subject, but we've made it totally fun and manageable for students though a series of interesting investigations. Student will begin by acting as scientists to examine what fossils can tell us about how Earth's environment and life have changed over time. Students will travel to Lake Victoria in Africa to explore how some colorful make fish attract female fish and create some crazy-colored fish themselves. Students will also lean how aurochs became domesticated and eventually turned into the cattle we see today. And students will even interpret data about whales to find out if they are more related to fish or to mammals.
In short, students will be learning about how life evolve on Earth through a series of in-depth activities carefully designed to captivate students' interest. That's our secret for making some of the biggest ideas in science fun and memorable for students.
