This simple cake is actually quite special to me. True, it’s not another super popular typical Italian preparation nor something fancy: it’s my grandmother Apple cake. 💕
Among all the reasons why this cake is special to me, there’s the fact that it was the very first video I’ve ever uploaded on my YouTube channel, almost 9 years ago.
I decided to remake it and to take the chance to tell you a bit more about my beloved Nonna Mari. :D

Ingredients *
1 small plain yogurt jar (about 125 g)
Using the yogurt jar:
2 jars of white sugar
3 jars of all-purpose flour
1/2 jar of vegetable oil, such as sunflower seeds oil
16 g of vanilla flavored baking powder (or add vanilla extract)
3 eggs
4 big Rennet apples or 6 small ones
butter
breadcrumbs
