The British Rail Advanced Passenger Train test train formation guide looks at common APT formations prior to its first official passenger service in December 1981. The formations shown in this video were found in books, photographs, on-line images, video and privately owned cine-film as part of research by oorail. Only formations featuring the APT with full yellow ends is shown in this video. An upcoming video will feature in-service and post Dec 1981 test formations.
