Welcome to the first oorail British Model Railway Mark 1 Coach Challenge. In this first challenge, we have the all new Hornby LNER W1 No. 10000 taking on the Hornby British Railways Rebuilt W1 No. 60700. The challenge is simple, how many Mark 1 coaches can they haul before running into trouble?
Sam's trains suggested the W1 couldn't haul more than 22 coaches? We have seen two W1s haul over 30 coaches on other channels, but how many Mark 1 coaches can these locos haul?
There are three simple rules:
1. Must be able to start off without struggling too much, wheel slip is OK
2. Must complete 5 laps of the layout
3. Must be able to stop without derailment
