B-17 Split In Two
The All American was a B-17F that had an incredible escape. While in a fight for life a German Bf-109 lost control and collided with the American plane. Almost split into 2 it managed to make its way home 'on a wing and a prayer'. An incredible testament to the resilience of the flying fortress.
