V1 The German Cruise Missile
The story behind the V1 missile and how it worked. Ahead of it's time it was the world's first operational cruise missile. The engine was a simple design but incredibly efficient using very few parts. It became known as the doodlebug or buzz bomb due to the sound of the pulse jet.
