SideFX Houdini - dissolving particles w. @sourceprim (test)
hey, hereabouts there´s this tv ad for a travel/booking portal in which the logo is dissolved in a similar fashion. I thought it couldn´t be too hard + tried it back and forth for a while using the @sourceprim attribute in a pop wrangle with the code looking finally like this: @life = lerp((28-@sourceprim)*0.15,0,rand(@id)); I´ll probably add a screencast when it´s closer to the reference :)
