A Conversation with God at the Judgment: What If It's All Real?
I don’t believe that hell, Heaven and the final judgment exist, but what if I’m wrong? What if Christianity is true after all? What if it’s all real? I think the first question we’d then have to ask is which version and which claims? Anyhow, I’ve prepared a thought experiment to challenge evangelical Christian beliefs and perspectives. If you’re deconstructing and on the fence about fully deconverting because you’re terrified about facing God’s Holy judgment and going to hell, maybe this will help reframe your thinking. I don’t know what your personal story is and what your reasons for deconverting might be, but put yourself in the scenario I’ll present. Use it as a template for your own conversation with God once you die. If you’re struggling with pushing that final deconversion domino down because “what if?”, maybe this can help you.
