Pick TV iPhone App Video Review - Watch Live TV For Free
When it comes to watching content online, there certainly is no shortage of services that are available. However, most require some sort of monthly subscription. There are ways to stream channels for free, though.
Pick TV is a free app by ATM Infonet Technologies Inc that consolidates over 270 free television channels so you can easily find what you want to watch. The best part is that all the content is 100% legal and available on YouTube.
Pick TV is designed to function as a content aggregator, meaning that the app organizes videos in a way that’s very easy to navigate. You can choose from a variety of layouts which makes it easy to personalize the app to your liking.
One of the things I really like about Pick TV is that the interface looks like something you'd see from a major streaming service. All the available channels have associated thumbnails that make it very simple to recognize stations you may already be familiar with.
Even though you won't find premium content like live sports or movies, this is still a great way to watch news and entertainment especially if you don't currently have a cable, satellite, or streaming service subscription.
Pick TV includes an impressive list of features, such as hosting TV channels that are available in over 28 languages. My favorite feature is the ability to maintain a list of favorite stations that you can quickly return to and watch at any time.
While many streaming apps and services deliver content that might have low quality, Pick TV promises a smooth viewing experience.
As mentioned above, this is mainly because all of the videos are featured on YouTube and as long as your internet speed is fast enough, videos will be crystal clear.
Pick TV is available to download from the App Store for free. Even though the app is designed for iPad, you can also watch videos on your iPhone. The app is supported by ads, but they're not intrusive at all.
Overall, you certainly can't go wrong with the price of free. This is especially true when it comes to streaming content on the web. Pick TV is definitely worth considering if you're looking for a way to organize your favorite free channels in one place.
