One big challenge is around cybersecurity:
IT teams don’t have the visibility into what assets are connected in the operational environments or what are the security risks. This **lack of visibility leads to inability to secure the infrastructure.
Unmanaged devices generate security threats by giving access to bad actors who can control your operations.
Remote operations have been a key trend, outside vendors are getting access to OT assets increasing the cyber security risks.”
