There’s a killer on the loose in Medford! Killer Burger, that is. The Portland based burger joint has been slaying peoples appetites upstate since 2010. Since then they’ve expanded into Washington and slowly but surely Killer Burger has been making its way to Southern Oregon.
Cows have come to despise Medford because it is the burger capital of the state. There are no less than five restaurants that sell hamburgers within a one mile radius of Killer Burger, which is located in the Northgate Plaza near the Rogue Valley Mall, where it occupies a building that was formerly home to a Chipotle Grill restaurant.
What’s so special about Killer Burger, you may ask? Well, their beef patties are big and juicy, the pickles, onions, lettuce and tomato are sweet, crisp and refreshing, the buns are soft, yet durable, and most importantly, Killer Burger has a liquor license! I didn’t enjoy an ice cold beer because I’m not used to ordering beer in restaurants. But, by the looks of things beer is a popular companion for Killer Burger patrons. I prefer to slake my thirst with an invigorating iced green tea.
For those of you who like to think outside the box, Killer Burger has you covered—with toppings like peanut butter, bacon, and even fried eggs! You could even order a chicken sandwich if you wanted!
It’s about time that Killer Burger arrived in Medford! It seems like Portland always gets the best restaurants first then after many years they pop up in Southern Oregon. Better late than never, I say!
