Sketching The Honduran Jungle
I am a genetic scientist, not an artist., When I was growing up near the rainforest, I thought everybody knew how to draw. I made hundred of sketches of all the animals I saw. I lost most of my sketchesl during a flood in La Lima. I started to draw again, to bring back the memories of my childhood near the jungle, next to a river surrounded by an enchanted forest that would never forget.
El recuerdo inolvidable de la belleza hondurena. Cuando era nino dibujaba todo lo que veia. Ahora anoro y recuerdo la belleza de ese bosque tropical hondureno que poco conocen quizas por tenerlo demasiado cerca. Con mis dibujos y mi poesia quizas logre darles un pequeno bosquejo de la experiencia que vivi en mi ninez.
