How to Home Brew Beer, making a Medium Pale Ale using Cornflakes from my home made recipe using the All Grain method.

This recipe uses Maris Otter Malt as a base and Medium Crystal malt for some colour and flavour. The cornflakes were added after a trial run with some crunchy nut cornflakes and I really liked the flavour so I used cornflakes but without the nuts this time.

Medium pale ale recipe:
For 5 litres
900g Maris Otter malt (72%)
200g Medium Crystal malt (16%)
100g Pale malt (8%)
50g Plain supermarket cornflakes (4%)
9g East Kent Goldings hops @60 min
5g East Kent Goldings and
5g Perle hops@ Flame out with 20min steep before cooling
Fermentis Safale S-04 Yeast (30% of dry packet)
Ferment for approximately 7 to 10 days before bottling.
