yesterday we encountered a true dinosaur. After 4 years of searching and spending hundreds if not thousands of hours on the water we found our first alligator gar over the absolutely monster mark of 8 foot. We entered her world leaving her in the water for tagging and measurements ensuring her successful release this fish could easily be over 70 years old sadly Texas Parks and Wildlife's regulations would allow people to kill this fish removing her millions of year old genetic line from the planet.
