How to simplify expressions using the power to a power or product to a power property / rule of Exponents

When you have a power to a power, multiply the exponents.
Example: (b^3)^2 = b^6

When you have a product to a power, the exponent goes to both factors.
Example: (a*b)^3 = a^3 * b^3
