Hake With Chorizo And Potatoes - Tony's Comfort Kitchen
Hake with chorizo and potatoes is a dish supposedly from the Galician region of Northern Spain, but to me, it could hail from anywhere along the Northern coastline, the Asturian, Cantabrian or even Basque regions as I feel it's a typical northern dish. Simple ingredients, easy and quick to cook, it is an absolute delight.
Ingredients for 2 people
2 hake fillets (around 400g in total)
1 onion chopped
3-4 cloves of garlic chopped
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp of hot smoked paprika
50-60g chorizo
1 small or 1/2 a medium green pepper
500g baby potatoes
50ml dry white wine
200ml water
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped fresh parsley and a drizzle of olive oil before serving
