Hello and welcome to Content Marketing Examples for August 2017.
First we have a bizarre VR simulation from KFC. Its purpose is to train people to fry chicken the KFC way, but the result is more like the film Saw than an actual training asset - but I think that was the point...very creepy.
Sticking to the dyspotian theme, we have Match.com, who choose seven willing single blokes and made 3D printed models of them. The models were then put on display in a pop-up shop in London for potential suitors to gawp at - bringing a whole new meaning to window shopping.
Then there's one for the doom mongers, as estate agent eMoov highlighted the best places to live in the UK if Nuclear War were to break out. Macabre, but it certainly got the headlines.
Finally, Burger King has developed its own cryptocurrency in Russia: the Whoppercoin. Apparently one billion whoppercoins have already been mined and they'll be used just like a traditional rewards scheme for customers - but if it's anything like bitcoin, burger's could be your next investment opportunity...
