I first learned about the Snowshoe Rabbit Emerger about 6 years ago while fishing on First Fork Sinnemahoning Creek. The guy next to me, a complete stranger, was picking off 2 fish for every 1 of mine, prior to an evening hatch of Green Drakes. We engaged in conversation and eventually he handed me a Snowshoe Rabbit Emerger to try, and I was on my way to a great evening! In sizes 16-20, this is an excellent pattern for matching Blue Wing Olives or any species of Baetis.
