Fly Tying the CDC Puff Daddy and Smokejumper
This video is a "two-fer" in which I tie two very effective CDC-inspired midge patterns that work well on finicky trout. The CDC Puff Daddy and the Smokejumper are well-known producers on tailwaters, but they also work well on those long, flat stretches of river that are low and clear and trout can inspect every fiber of the fly.
