Gathering Lumber for the Chicken Run
Hey there folks, here's a little update on how things are coming along with the chicken project these days. I've been eyeing up a few of the unwanted trees in the middle of our yard to pick the best ones for my build and I think I'm ready to get started. The weather has been quite windy, so bringing the tree down safely was quite a timing issue but it all worked out well in the end. So far, that one tree looks like it may be enough to build most of the frame for the chickens run and that little Ryobi chainsaw is holding up like quite a little trooper. Sure, it's got some quirks but so do I so it all kinda works out there too ...
Not quite finished with this project yet but I'm a lot closer than I expected to be and the wire is on it's way! It would be nice to have the framework done and the roof on before that gets here though. Always good to have a goal & a timeline! Thanks for sticking around folks, happy harvests and blessed be!
