Providing Clean Water for our Rescue Hens
Hey there folks, thanks for taking a look at this little chicken project video. Our little rescue hens have only been here for two days but they've made it clear that a bowl isn't going to work for clean water. You know what will work? A suspended pail with those little chicken nipples on the bottom!
It's affordable, the bucket & lid were only $6 and, if you can wait a few days, those water nipples are really cheap online. I could have put this together for about $15 and had 16 extras but instead I did it today for about $22 and will order some extras online later on.
Well worth the money I suspect and it should be quite quick to winterize as a bonus!
