Alien Invasion at CarbondAliens Festival 2024!
On November 9th, 1974 a UFO is believed to have crashed into a pond in Carbondale. There were thousands of bystanders who witnessed lights in the pond before authorities arrived and cleared the area. Several people witnessed a flat bed truck leaving the scene with an object covered by a tarp. Many believe it was a UFO that was recovered and the entire incident was covered up. The first Annual CarbondAlien Festival explores that historic event with live re-enactments and all things Alien throughout the town of Carbondale, including discussions on UFO investigations and other topics by MUFON investigators and authors.
