Texas Flight Fail

Traveled with my glider and WASP FLPHG system to Texas recently because of a quick job in Dallas. While I was there I wanted to meet up with Wesley Adams at his local field to get some early morning flights in. We met, he flew, I crashed :)

I had been warned and instructed by other PHG pilots to fly with 5-10 mph of headwind, and it is now painfully obvious why. Down tube has been mended. I'll be back out there trying again, but probably not in Texas for awhile... it was a long drive. Thanks Wesley for all your help, and encouraging words. He even offered to lend me his glider after he'd seen me fly into the dirt! Great guy. I hope to actually fly with him one day.
