Single Pane of Glass Reporting - NYC Bikes - DirectQuery
The first component we'll use for our Single Pane of Glass reporting will be the CitiBike data. DirectQuery can effectively allow you to bring an unlimited amount of data into Power BI. In this case, we are using Power BI Dataflows (a Premium feature), but you can use a direct query with some database sources with a Pro Subscription. This method of keeping the Fact table data our of the data model makes for some different challenges in terms of building your report content, however for massive datasets they can be the only option.
