Power BI - Icon Maps
Icon Map was something I looked at many years ago and have just not looked at again. A few weeks ago though a video come up on our feed from DiscoverEL and it blew me away. Alice Dummond does some great things with Icon Maps, enough to make me want to revisit them and take them to the next level.

In addition to the basics, they have the capability to plot thousands of points! In the video we show nearly 24k points being plotted. That makes this a truly capable map and in the words of one of our clients "It's like ArcGIS but built for Power BI"
You will need a Mapbox subscription to get the most out of it but that is all discussed in Alice's video.
