OVERLORD (a.k.a Supremacy) Theme for the Commodore 64
Overlord (also known as "Supremacy" in Europe) was an early Real Time Strategy game, originally created for the Amiga computer, but then ported to the Atari ST, PC compatibles, and the Commodore 64.
I have played the Amiga, PC, and Commodore 64 versions of the game, and the Commodore 64 version is my favourite by far. For this version, Jeroen Tel took the original plodding theme used in the other versions and expanded it with an upbeat tempo, and basically rocked out with it! It is one of my favourite video game tunes of all time (May Bobby Prince forgive me.),. Since there is now a discussion on the Chex Quest Fan Forums about the best game tunes, I decided to make a recording and post it so that everyone else will know what I am talking about.
The Box scan and screen shots were taken from Moby Games. At present I am unable to take screen shots from my Commodore 64. Sorry.
Anyway, sit back and enjoy one of the best SID tunes ever created, and don't forget ... Wotok has no brain.
