Mangonel (catapult) Test, May 30, 2010
This mangonel was started on Victoria Day weekend 2010 and was completed on May 30th 2010. It was used as part of a display at Upper Canada Village during an event held on June 11, 12, and 13 2010. Most of the test firings were made using softballs, but the one here was using a five pound river rock. Luckily this was on a farm where there was plenty of room, and nobody could get hurt.
