Hymn: God will take care of you
“And even to your old age I am He (God); and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.” (Isaiah 46:4)
God has promised to carry us through every difficulty in life even to our old age, when our hairs have turned grey and our faces etched with wrinkles. God is a Faithful Creator and He will never forsake the souls of those He has redeemed with the precious blood of His Son. “And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto His heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” (2Timothy 4:18).
Once God saves us from the condemnation of sin, He preserves us until He brings us to be in Heaven with Him for eternity. He seals us with His Holy Spirit who dwells in every believer of Christ and we are safe in Him. Even the devil cannot pluck our souls from His hand. We can NEVER lose our salvation in Christ. “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me:
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand. My Father, which gave them Me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of My Father's hand.” (John 10:27-29)
The world is full of tribulation but God promises that we will never go through what we cannot bear (1Cor 10:13), and His grace is sufficient for us (2Cor 12:9), that all things will eventually work out for our good (Romans 8:28). The world may curse us but God will turn our curses into blessings. “but the LORD thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the LORD thy God loved thee” (Deut 23:5).
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and commit all things to Him in prayer. Rest in your Heavenly Father’s love and trust Him to carry you through the dark valleys of life. “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.” (Romans 8:37). “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, He it is that doth go with thee; He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” (Deut 31:6).
