It is from God’s Word, the Bible, that we draw strength and comfort. To know God’s wisdom, His will and direction for our lives, and His perfect plan of salvation for our souls. May I encourage you as the year draws to a close, that you would set your heart to open the Bible and read it for yourself.
Spend some time every morning before the busy day begins to pray to God and to read a chapter of His Word. Let God guide you and speak to your heart through His Word, and keep talking to God throughout the day in prayer because He hears and cares for you. “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” (Psalm 91:1)
