Hi, thanks for watching this video. Here is a special takeover from our Peace Corp volunteer Kaitlyn who will show us a day in her life in Nepal.
Good morning from Nepal. Here’s a panoramic shot of Nepal, you can see a quiet sunshine filled morning over the mountains and views of (a village house).
Kaitlyn starts her day off with a cup of coffee. This one features President Barack Obama.
Here is what a nepali breakfast can typically include: rice, vegetables, dal (lentil soup), and vegetable curry.
Welcome to the village, and now we’re exploring the village clinic. A nurse introduces a newborn baby to us and smiles.
We’re now visiting the village’s clinic.
“Namaste! Welcome to our clinic.”
A nurse shows us a newborn baby. She smiles.
Now we’re walking around the village. We see a few chickens roaming.
We’re now seeing young students in their uniforms, and they’re having a lot of fun chasing bubbles.
Now we visit a computer lab for adults. Here, two young women are learning new computer skills.
Did you know? We also plant. Here, we show the first kiwi plant in this village. Kiwi plants are really beautiful. They have long green stems and red-orange budding flowers.
Now we’re at a school where children Here learn English. There are a lot of eager students ready for classes.
Now we show a clip of students at dance practice for a recital on parents day.
Thanks for experiencing a day in a Nepalese village with us. We hope you enjoyed what we shared.
