How to create your own Twitter moment 2017.
Hi Paul here from PRwilson Media your social media personal trainer. Have you seen that little lightning bolt on Twitter? The moments. So you might see something like this, it looks like another load of information , content to consume online. But think about this. If you create your own moment , you are creating your own story on Twitter. That's really powerful. For example you are at an exhibition and you have a lot of people say a lot of things on Twitter about you and your business , you can put them into a moment to capture that for people to look at afterwards. I'm going to demonstrate how easy it is to use. Here we go.
So if you hover over here, while you are in moments you can see you can now create moments. And that will give you this template to fill out Which will be a title, add a description , use any pictures from the tweets you select or upload your own cover photo. Add tweets from these 4 options so link to it , search for it you can search for a hashtag as well you can look for tweets by certain accounts, all sorts of options. But the main one as you scroll through is you have the option to include it or not include it. And any tweet you want to include in that moment you just select there with your ticks.
OK so that's just the basic way it will work but in the true tradition of Blue Peter and all of that instead of creating a completely new moment, I'm going to look at ones that I prepared earlier. So I can do that by going to my own menu and saying moments. And I'll see any drafts that I've got plus any published ones. And even a published twitter moment can be edited and can have additional stuff.
Here's one from an event we did last week and we used a certain hashtag during the event and everyone who took part and tweeted got included in this particular moment. You can see who else has come and visited and liked the moment itself and anyone else can come to it and tweet it. So it goes further and further. So it's about much extending the life of individual tweets , group things together and telling the whole story of a day. You can change the order in which it appears. I think this was in the preparation very important to have biscuits and healthy salad of course. There's various multimedia that was used in the tweets GIFs and all sorts of things. So really , really simple to do. You can edit an existing one, go back and add additional pictures. They are made in real time and visible to the public as it says. And so have a look around , I've used it for showcasing people's work so somebody who was a speaker and showing how much the audience appreciated it - that's something that's really invaluable for that person to showcase what people are saying about you.
