On day two of our spring ice fishing camping trip, we wake up quite late after a long night and early morning of aurora viewing to check the burbot lines we set the night before.
Even though they may not look appetizing, burbot (freshwater cod) is considered one of the finest delicacies in the Canadian North. In this video, we experience some trouble catching the fish, and an even harder time trying to cook it!
