Are any of you spending more time at home these days?

Do you feel, like us, that you need more living space to work and relax, have some time alone and connect to the beauty of the outdoors?

We are an international couple with an Alaskan Malamute cross dog living in a small yurt in Canada's North for the past 9 years.

After spending 8 years living in a 20' yurt, and Covid restriction started, we could no longer work as nature guides. We had more time and designed and built a greenhouse/sunroom addition onto our yurt to give us more space for added sanity.

Find out how we built our own (DIY) unique small greenhouse/sunroom saving money using recycled materials and incorporated traditional Japanese architectural design to help us feel more connected to the outdoors!

See also how we made a DIY dog door for our dog, Tenshi...one that is simple and keeps the mosquitos out.
