In fact, today about one in every eight woman gets diagnosed with breast cancer. The reconstruction surgery is important in a woman's recovery process. A woman can either receive this treatment during her other treatments, or wait a few years after until she has fully recovered from the other treatments. Either way, the medical technology has improved so as to make this procedure as effective as it can be.
